Basically, to become a qualified Yoga therapist one has to understand three things: Yoga, the human anatomy and the anatomy of disease. After practising Yoga for many years, the aspirant is able to undergo an ordinary Yoga Teacher’s Training course.
This is mandatory. It is advisable to practise for a few years and then take an Advanced Teacher’s Training course, preferably from the same institution or center. Thereafter, the aspirant practises for a few years at least.
