Technique

  • Lie on the floor, face down
  • Rest your chin on the floor and place your hands by your sides
  • Make a fist with each hand and place them firmly against the floor at under your groin

  • Raise your left leg slowly while pushing against the floor with your fists
  • Raise it as high as is comfortable
  • Hold the pose for 10 seconds
  • Lower your leg to ground
  • Relax for sometime
  • Then raise your right leg and follow the same procedure
  • Rest for a while
  • Then bearing your body weight on your fists, try to raise both legs simultaneously off the floor
  • Hold the position for as long as you can then slowly lower your legs
  • Relax with cheek resting on your folded arms
