Even modern medical research recommends correct and regular practice of Yoga to help prevent as well as treat many types of ailments.



What’s more, Yoga also helps you live a healthful and stress free life.

Yoga has asanas (postures), pranayamas (breathing techniques), kriyas (cleansing techniques and special dietary recommendations for healing almost all health disorders, allergies, aches, pains etc. Most of the practices are simple yet have a magical effect on most ailments.

Practical hints on Yoga practice

With regard to Yoga Therapy for healing ailments we suggest the following guidelines:

  • Become acquainted with your body and its limitations. Don’t force, strain, or, least of all, judge yourself.



    If you experience any sort of pain, exhaustion, dizziness, shortness of breath, or any other discomfort slow down or stop, immediately.
  • Let go, relax, and transform yourself into a healthier, happier person, naturally. Practise at your own pace, starting with the easier asanas and pranayamas first.



    Slowly work up to other practices that are more challenging for you.
  • Never practice Yoga for 2-3 hours after meals. See that your stomach and bowels are empty.



    It is alright to have a few sips of water before, but not during Yoga practice. Always avoid practicing Yoga under direct sunlight.
  • Always wear loose and comfortable clothes, preferably cotton, to Yoga practice, to allow unrestricted movement. Keep your feet bare, use a large thick towel or Yoga mat.
  • Make it a point to relax for at least 10–15 minutes after each session  It is always better to practise Yoga under expert guidance.



    Above all, consult your doctor before starting Yoga practice.
