Yoga According to Your Lifestyle

Folks who don’t exercise regularly, say they are too busy to visit a gym or work out at home.



They don’t realize they are putting themselves at high risk to a number of diseases resulting from stress and sedentary lifestyle. It is now being revealed that regular workouts or physical activity helps our bodies to cope with the stress and tensions of daily life. Besides, they even help improve overall health.



On the other hand, the demand of our every day lives keep increasing by the minute. These demands subtract from our time to look after our health.

Bear in mind, your health is most important; vital, in fact.



You know full well that unhealthy people are less productive. Subsequently, it is difficult for them to achieve their goals. Imagine working hard for a decade for a promotion to the position you always imagined possible and deserving of your worth and talents. You spend over sixteen hours at work, avoid meals, deprive yourself of sleep, don’t work out and, as a consequence, are always stressed out. Ultimately, you landed the position but developed a chronic disease. That forced you to resign just a few months after enjoying the fruits of your labors.  Frustrating, isn’t it?

One of the principles of Yoga is to create practices for specific conditions and purposes. This talks about lifestyles, whether or not you have a lot of time, or almost no time at all. The best part of Yoga is that you can practise it anywhere. You can practise Yoga at the office, at home, sometimes even in a car or in a bus on the way to work. For those who are too busy at work, they can even practise Yoga at their desks during a break. We all take a break, don't we?

Keep in mind it is best to practice Yoga on an empty stomach first thing in the morning or in the evenings. Morning Yoga practice helps rejuvenate the mind and body, keeps the practitioner energized and ready for work. Evening Yoga practice helps you relax and gives you good, deep sleep. This is why meditation and relaxation are advised during the evenings for people suffering from stress and tensions. However, it is most important to do all Yoga Practices daily.
