How to practice the Sarvangasana (shoulder stand)

One should lie flat on the ground with the arms at rest. Exhale the air within. Now, bend the knee and bring them to the chin with the stomach stretched. Take a deep breath and exhale the air while you lift your legs perpendicular to the floor. Now you can breathe normally. Your head can stay comfortably on the ground along with the trunk while the legs stay perpendicular with the toes pointing the sky.

Triangle pose too can help the body take a comfortable position by facing forward and the face should look up to the sky. This provides perfect exercise to the neck as well as back. The stretch at the back and the belly helps to provide freedom from back pain as well as helps to reduce the extra deposits of fat around the belly region.

Exercise provides relief to the stomach muscles as well as helps in digestion of the food. It also aids in increased metabolism of the body and imparts flexibility for the movement. It provides better toning to the body and gives a better shape to the body too. Various postures of yoga like pavanmukatasana (aeroplane pose), bhujangasana (cobra pose), paschimotanasana (Seated forward bend) and others work wonders in reduction of belly fat and provides better shape to the body and assists greatly to free the body from the extra fat deposited in the belly region.
