Yoga for Idiopathic Chronic Urticaria

Idiopathic Chronic Urticaria the disease of the skin which causes patches of skin at several places.



It can be caused by contamination due to various diseases. It generally affects the intestine and hampers the process of digestion. It may cause itching sensation to the inner linings of the intestine and can also cause stomach disorder.

Turmeric is an antibiotic which helps to treat several stomach ailments and belly disorders.



It can be consumed with warm water or should be used as a part of our daily diet. Red Ochre can also be used for treating chronic urticaria. It can be consumed with a tea spoon of honey. Rose water also provides coolness to the intestine and neem and drumstick also does you good.



Salt free diet is appreciated and spicy food should be restricted whenever possible.

Treatment in the form of yoga, the Shoulder stand pose (Sarvangasana) and Plough Pose (Halasana) are recommended exercises for the chronic urticaria. It also works wonders for the ailments like asthma, arthritis, sciatica, sinus and other disorders of the stomach and belly.

Plough Pose is easy to practice. You should lie flat on the ground and then lift your legs upwards by bending the back and then touch the ground on the side of your head with both the toes. You need to exhale and then inhale deeply. You need to support your back with both your hands in order to have a perfect balance to the body. This asana should be practiced after adequate practice and once it has been learnt under some good practitioner, one can carry out the postures on regular basis independently.

Shoulder Stand also helps greatly for the treatment of urticaria and it can also be practiced for the treatment of several disorders of liver or stomach. It helps to rejuvenate the whole body and enjoy great health. Practicing shoulder stand is easy but one has to be well versed with the breath exercises of Yoga. You can lie down flat on the ground and then raise your legs up. Gradually lift your hips too above the floor and let the whole body be balanced with the support of the shoulders. The spine should be supported with the help of the hands.
