Yoga can greatly help you to tone your body in a proper manner. There is nothing to feel neglected about it. You will surely take some time to have a perfectly toned body but your practice of yoga will definitely do you good. The thought that you have inherited it from your mother which makes you upset is not at all the reason to worry. Every person’s body is unique. Everyone has their own stature and though it may be affected by genetic configuration to some extent, it can never be inherited. All individuals are different. It is in your hand to tone your body and provide a proper shape to it.

All inverted postures of yoga are highly recommended for saggy breasts. This works in the opposite direction providing a backward stretch which brings your breasts in place. It is suggested that you provide proper support to your breasts with tight fitting clothes and bracers at the time of yoga practice.

The postures of yoga like wheel pose, semi wheel pose, Head stand, Shoulder stand, Plough pose, Hand stand are the recommended postures of yoga for proper tone of the breasts.
Head stand posture of yoga can be practiced with the following simple steps :

  • Lie flat on the ground
  • Lift your legs upwards from the thigh
  • Now try to lift your trunk too
  • Balance the body with the support of your head
  • Hold your both palms below your head
  • Stay in this posture for long time.

Shoulder stand is easier as compared to the head stand.

  • You need to lie flat on the ground
  • Lift your lower part of the body upwards from the thigh joint
  • Take support of your hands if required
  • Now, lift your trunk region too upwards
  • Support your body with the help of your hands
  • Stay in this posture for quite sometime
  • Relieve from the position slowly.
  • Relax

Plough pose also provides support to the breasts, strengthens breast muscles and imparts proper shape to it. You should follow the following steps for the plough pose:

  • Lie flat on the ground
  • Lift your legs in the air by folding them from your thigh joint
  • Support them with both your hands
  • Take your legs backwards on the side of your head
  • Let them touch the ground
  • Stay in this posture for some time
  • Slowly relax and free yourself from the posture
