Running With Water

Running is one of the best forms of exercise since it is advantageous for both your body and mind. Running not only helps to lose weight but also helps in keeping your heart healthy, your bones stronger and your mind alert and relaxed. The common reason for running is to burn calories as it is an easy and least expensive way to reduce weight. Some people are professional runners who run to compete and some run to support a cause. But whatever the reason as they run dehydration is one of the major cause of concern. Therefore drinking enough water is necessary as they lose the most amount of water when they run. Preā€“run hydration is very vital if you want to continue to exercise and not collapse on the way. Health instructors say that you should drink at least 4 ounces of water before you start your run and if you are a marathon runner it should be around 8-10 ounces. Running with water is a little difficult because most runners do not like to carry the extra weight of a bottle as they run their course. But if your run is longer than 20 minutes and consists of a strenuous run they it is better that you drink around 6-8 ounces as you run. Your need for intake of water largely depends on your rate of perspiring. The more you sweat the more you will have to increase your water intake, even while running. Though running with water is difficult it is better to carry a small bottle when you run so that you can continue to hydrate yourself through your run. If there would be water available on the trail that you take then it becomes easier or else carry a bottle or fluid carrier with you. There are various kinds of bottles available which are easily portable and are not that heavy. These could also be easily attached to your running attire in a way that you do not have to be worried about it reducing your speed. If you are running a marathon or a race, water fountains are made available along the way so you do not have to bother running with water. Apart from water you could also drink energy drinks that can replace the sodium and other minerals that you lose. Remember that each ones hydration levels are different and therefore so will the need for water differ so it is best to make sure that you are hydrated enough during and after your run.
