Wrinkles are a natural outcome of aging. As we age, our skin loses elasticity and starts sagging. This is the case because the tissues of the skin lose the collagen and elastin present in them. The decrease of collagen and elastin results in fine creases that are called wrinkles. The face and neck are the areas where wrinkles appear first but you haven’t mentioned if you are suffering from wrinkles in these areas. It is possible that you have been taking good care of these areas, whereas your arms and legs may have been ignored causing the wrinkles to appear there first. Exposure to the sun without adequate sun protection is also a reason for the formation of wrinkles. Also, if you smoke or consume alcohol, you must quit the habit right away. Stress, rapid loss of weight and lack of Vitamin E are also some factors that make the skin wrinkle faster. To ensure that you have enough intake of Vitamin E, eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, especially green leafy vegetables. Drinking lots of water also maintains elasticity of the skin and the moisture makes it look smoother.

Other than the above-mentioned remedies, there are many ways to treat the wrinkles on your legs and arms. A daily massage of your legs and arms would be beneficial. If you use warm mustard oil for massaging, you may see positive results in about a month or two. The oil massage will also provide enough moisture to your skin, making it look smoother. Also, wrinkles get worse because of excessive dryness, so the oil would work very well in getting rid of it. However, you must make sure that you do not apply too much pressure while massaging. Alternatively, massage the skin with pure castor oil regularly as castor oil helps to keep wrinkles at bay. Another very effective remedy for the wrinkles on your arms and legs would be applying a pack made of half a cup of mashed papaya and pineapple with a tablespoon of honey added to it. Smear the pack on your arms and legs. Let it stay on for about 30 minutes and then wash the areas off. Since Vitamin E is extremely important for the elasticity of the skin, you can topically apply the oil obtained by breaking open Vitamin E capsules. You can also take the oil of 3 Vitamin E capsules, and add 2 teaspoon plain yogurt, 1/2 tsp of honey and lemon juice to it. Apply the mixture thoroughly on your skin and leave it on for 10 minutes before rinsing it off.
