Another potent mixture that you could probably use is by mixing turmeric powder with clarified butter. This mixture speeds up the healing process and also alleviates pain, if any. Since turmeric is a natural antiseptic and anti-inflammatory, it can heal any skin ailment topically. Whatever be the remedy that you use, you should always use milk cream just as you would use a lip balm. Milk cream is very effective and makes your sunburned lips heal very quickly as compared to other homemade remedies. All these homemade remedies are very effective in curing your sunburned lips but if you do not see any improvement even after a few weeks, then you should consult a physician who will be able to diagnose if there is an underlying condition that is causing this problem.
