How can I firm my body skin and loose cellulite after having baby ?

Even though almost every woman is absolutely delighted to welcome her own little bundle of joy into the world, weight loss and the presence of loose, flabby skin just after the pregnancy is likely to linger in every expecting mothers mind at some point during the pregnancy. It is a well known fact that a pregnancy causes the skin to lose most of its elastic properties temporarily for a period of about a year from the delivery. In today’s world where people are constantly being judged on their appearances, this can be quite problematic. A number of people are constantly on the lookout for some kind of miracle treatment that will all but cause the excess fat and loose skin to vanish into thin air. Unfortunately, no such treatment exists and any success will depend heavily on the commitment of the individual and the adherence to a strict diet and exercise regime.

Remedies

Make sure that you do not over do the exercise bit as this could leave you too tired over the course of the day to provide the special attention that a new born requires. Try working out on a daily basis for a period of about 20 minutes while the baby is asleep. Crunches are probably the best exercise method to do away with the stomach fat while reverse crunches act mainly on tightening your back. Do not attempt to lose too much weight too quickly as anything exceeding three pounds a week is extremely unhealthy and causes the skin to lose its elasticity even faster. Apply some moisturizing lotion over your skin every night before going to sleep as this helps tremendously in retaining as well as replenishing the elasticity in the skin.

If there are a few stretch marks present, you should try applying some egg white over the area and wash it off with some cold water when dry. You could also use a mixture of fresh mil k cream, gram flour and turmeric powder to equally efficient effect. Increase your intake of foods that are high in vitamins A, and C as well as zinc to help with the loose skin as well as stretch marks simultaneously. Exfoliation is a very often overlooked aspect of skin cell regeneration. The regular gentle scrubbing of your skin will help get rid of any old or dead skin cells and allow the fresher, newer skin cells to come to the fore. Make sure that you drink plenty of water right throughout the day as it serves to keep the skin well moisturized and relatively free of toxins. It also significantly helps tighten up the skin.
