Relaxation Yoga


Relaxation is one of the main goals of Yoga.



Through relaxation you come to accept the good and bad things, which a full life bestows upon you. Through relaxation you also learn to kick off changes in life as and when you feel essential.



This is due to the fact that, through relaxation, you reach a level of an unqualified state of mind. Through relaxation you are able to drop away a lot of the things, which bring down the concord and balance of life, the things that spoil our relationships, or damage our ability to give our best.



Yoga relaxation helps its practitioners discover wisdom and knowledge in raising the level of ones energies to face life's challenges. It is only when you become complete in some degree that you get pleasure from a feeling or experience people refer to as relaxation. Hence relaxation is not just a practice; it is something you experience as well

The point is, what you call "Yoga relaxation, or Relaxation Yoga" just means that it is more comprehensive in its endeavors than ordinary relaxation. Ordinary relaxation normally concerns itself solely with the physical system. Seldom does it have anything to do with the emotions and breathing. Yoga, on the other hand, views these things as the manifestations of something much bigger (our whole nature-The All). Yoga considers it the experience, that alone, which will make us completely happy.

For this reason, Yoga is the only science – and art – of life that deals not just with the body. Not happy to confine itself to the body, Yoga transcends to the levels of the mind, the emotions – why, even the Spirit. For Yoga believes, that only relaxation at all these levels entails true, whole and complete relaxation. Without this the rest is only incompleteness and that results in nothing.
