Herbal Remedies to Cure Intestinal Parasite

Infection spread through food, water or air can cause intestinal parasites that do a great deal of damage to the body. A number of symptoms, such as constipation, bloating of the stomach, asthma, diarrhea, immune system degeneration, tiredness, skin allergies and anemia are indicative of intestinal parasites. In most cases, people are not aware of the symptoms and will continue normal routine work without giving a second thought to the betterment of their health. These parasites live on the food that we eat, thereby becoming the host for the parasite.

Intestinal parasites cause a number of health problems due to the toxins that they secrete, while stealing vital nutrients from the food that is consumed. Some of these parasites will tend to draw minerals and essential vitamins through the blood, while others will absorb nutrients through the outer layer of the skin, thereby leading to skin allergies. As the bowels become ineffective for the removal of waste products, these parasites thrive in this predominant condition. It is imperative that these nutrients that are lost to parasitic infections are replaced on a daily basis.

Herbal Remedies

A number of herbal foods and natural cleansing products have been well recommended in clearing the body of intestinal parasites. However, it is best advised that these herbal combinations be taken on an empty stomach. Foods such as apple cider vinegar and cranberry juice will lower the alkaline content of other foods and are therefore beneficial in treating intestinal parasitic infections. A concoction made with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and warm water is effective in the removal of intestinal parasites. Chamomile and licorice added to herbal teas will provide laxative action, thereby ensuring that the waste is eliminated from the body. Finely grated or coarse chopped carrots have also proved beneficial in cleansing the intestines of parasites. Garlic is known for its high medicinal value, and has proved to be an excellent remedy due to its anti-microbial qualities. Another time tested remedy for worms is a mixture of pumpkin seeds, onions and soy milk. Tape worms can be removed by an only pineapple diet, spread over a period of three days, while bitter melon is found to be effective in fighting pin worms. Another method of removing parasites is through consuming natural foods like citrus fruits and leafy vegetables that restore the balance of the body’s ability to fight off infections. Sugar is best avoided as it helps to develop the parasite, as do high alkaline foods.
