Being underweight could be attributed to certain ailments and diseases, which prevent proper digestion and absorption. These ailments may also cause lethargy and general feelings of illness. Yoga and Pranayama are also effective in tackling these problems. Once the root cause is tackled, the body will become healthy again, and thus be able to gain weight normally.
