Is there any recipe to prepare oatmeal bath at home like aveeno oatmeal product?

The Aveeno oatmeal product is used to soothe the irritation and itchiness that is felt if the skin is suffering from a rash, insect bite, eczema, and the like. Recreate something similar to the product by taking a medium-sized cup full of oatmeal and grinding it into a fine powder. To this powder, add dried and crushed lavender flower buds. If finding the flower buds is difficult, add a few drops of lavender oil to this powder and mix it well. Place this mixture in a thin muslin cloth and make a bag out of it. Fill your bath tub with hot water and pour 2-3 cups of whole milk into the tub. Then, place the oatmeal-lavender bag in the water in the bath tub. Mind you, if you don’t want to place the mixture in a bag, you can easily just pour the mixture in the bath tub directly. The oatmeal will immediately start its work. This is an amazing way to just relax. You also need to know that oatmeal works amazingly well at taking care of the itchiness and irritation of the skin.

If all you want to do is relax, then this kind of an oatmeal bath will help you do just that. But if you are suffering from itchiness, rashes, or something as serious as eczema, then there are other ways in which you can take care of these problems, apart from the Oatmeal bath. If it is itchiness that you are suffering from, then chances are that you have very dry skin, and need to moisturize it on a daily basis. For this, the best thing to directly apply is olive oil on the affected area or any lotion which has olive oil as its base. You should apply this immediately after having a bath. If it is rashes that you are suffering from, you need to first find out what is causing the rash and try and eliminate the cause or causes. Apart from that, once a week, use a scrub to exfoliate your skin. For this, make a scrub from finely crushed walnut powder, sugar crystals, and olive oil. This will help remove the dried, dead skin as well as moisturize the skin. Alternatively, you can use oatmeal also as a scrub by mixing it with olive oil and rubbing it all over the body. If it is eczema that you are suffering from, apply a paste made out of sandalwood and rose water to it. Or else, a paste made out of tomato pulp and nutmeg powder will also work. Both these things will help get rid of eczema.
