  • Begin by gently raising your hips.
  • Thereafter, raise your tailbone slowly and continue lifting your spine.
  • Now, support yourself with your elbows on the floor.
  • Gradually, try to straighten out your legs and keep your knees straight and close together.

    Feet should ideally point forwards.
  • Take a couple of slow, deep breaths and hold the pose for as long as possible.
  • To come out of the pose, first bring your feet close to your hips, then lower your back to the floor, then release your arms.
