Breathing Benefits Of Yoga

Breath is the coalescing principle of the 3 systems of mechanics, metabolism,  and mentality.

It is the unifying link between man’s conscious and unconscious states. All the 3 involuntary aspects of breathing have precise neuro-transmission functions. Any techniques that wholly stress upon one aspect of the mechanism will shift  the effects of metabolism accordingly.

Since our neuro-metabolism is a precarious equilibrium, this is no small matter. Yoga practices have specially been designed for this reason. That is to stimulate a definite aspect or relationship of aspects.

Contemporary Yogis don't always explain it this way. Often leads to misuse and abuse. Proper knowledge is what is ideally called Yoga. Remember, Yoga means union. That union is about putting together all aspects. And apply your acumen in order that you may optimize the benefits in your life.

Yoga practices must be approached with awe, gratefulness, appreciation and love. Proper breathing takes you into this special place. Some yoga practitioners are of the opinion that we are given a fixed number of breaths for every lifetime. Many stress-related health problems are the result of shallow breathing. This is the first thing we do the moment we are born. Breathing is also the last thing we do when we die. Correct breathing is the basis of all life; practice this over and over again, as frequently as possible.
