  • Complex carbohydrates are another ingredient to add to your list. It is believed that complex carbohydrates regulate your blood sugar. Some foods that have complex carbohydrates include wheat bread, yams and oatmeal.
  • You should also include a small amount of healthy fats. Do remember that you cannot deny fat to your body and need to eat at least a small amount of healthy fats like Omega 3 fats that will nourish your body. So, stock up on fresh fish and broil, bake or grill it into delicious and healthy dishes.
  • Cardio and resistance training: You need to find time to exercise everyday. Work with a personal trainer and create a schedule so that you can work in cardio and resistance training a few times every week.
