The yogic asana regime to be followed if I want to lose weight and build up stamina goes as follows: Exercises – Warming up spot jogging, neck exercises, followed by rapid twisting at the waist, backward-forward bends, sideward twists, sideward bends, alternate bends, i.e. right hand to left leg, left hand to right leg. These should be followed by, at least, 10 rounds of Surya Namaskar. Then do all the asanas in the following series: - Standing Postures
- Sitting Postures
- Supine Postures
- Prone Postures
- Inverted Postures
- Balancing Postures
