Yoga to Reduce Weight
I am 30 years old, 75 kg, 5.2'' tall. Want to loose 15 kg weight. Can you advice some yoga exercises & proper diet?

Regular exercise of Yogasanas and Pranayama helps in weight loss, but you would need to understand particular Yoga Techniques, that are proven to be more competent in reducing weight. These yogasanas include the Paschimotannasana, the Saralhasta-bhujangasana, Sarvangasana, halasana, dhanurasana; veer asana, trikonasana, and the ardha-matsyendrasana. In addition to Yogasanas the sun salutation exercise or the Surya Namaskar is also highly efficient in weight reduction, while breathing techniques in Pranayama also help in boosting the metabolism. Certain cleansing procedures in Yoga such as agnisar, uddiyan bandha are important in the cleansing of the body to get rid of toxins in the physical self. An important side to exercise is the correction of food habits. Ensure that the important meals in a day such as the lunch and dinner timings are always fixed. For in between meals there should be a gap of at least two to three hours from one snack to another. It is important that you start on a low fat foods and substitute them with high fiber vegetables and fruits. Unhealthy and foods high in saturated fats such as white flour baked products, creamed milk, cheese, butter and sweets must be restrained to as little as possible or none at all. What we also do not realize is that there are certain lifestyle elements that are helpful in effective metabolism and such habits include sleeping habits amongst other lifestyle patterns. It is advisable to get at least six to seven hours of sleep; not less or more. Specific habits such as smoking and excessive consumption of alcohol are major hindrances to adopting a healthy lifestyle and being healthy. If possible also try to get regular body massages and steam to help the body stay flexible and get rid of toxins respectively. An important study in understanding stubborn weight loss is the role of the endocrinal glands in our body and their effectiveness. The endocrine organs secrete hormones that help in controlling numerous activities in our body. Any disorder in the functioning of these endocrinal glands leads to numerous physical troubles. Hence a good medical examination by a doctor can help to rule out any problems in these areas, thus paving the way to effective weight loss. Yoga aims in treating the mind and body as a whole and through its methods of yogasanas, Pranayama and deep meditative techniques, a perfect balance between the two can be established. In the absence of metal and physical stress, your goal can be achieved through discipline in exercise and diet.
