Marijuana is rapidly becoming an important component for meditation and activities like yoga. People that meditate attempt to get hold of reality in its purest form and remove all perception and habit in order to find one’s true self. Now that in USA the legal framework in many states permits the use of marijuana plant more options appear for the spiritual use of Cannabis.

There are various (often controversial) opinions regarding the use of marijuana during meditation. But lots of people reveal that marijuana makes meditation more enjoyable and easier for them. The body and mind must first be calm and in a relaxed state.  When the mind is fully relaxed, the body is mentally elevated and makes meditation perfect. Meditation is about awareness and mental state and Marijuana allows the body to melt with the floor and the muscle to relax.

Marijuana can boost consciousness greatly but first, one needs to focus on breathing and experiencing calmness. Then he can experience the same calm in other parts of life. Once the mind is relaxed, it is easier to concentrate.

The high gotten from cannabis boosts what is going through the mind and the body. Intention plays the key role for using with cannabis spiritually. Marijuana increases one's ability to get a clearer perspective on happenings in their life.

Traditionally Cannabis has been a great resource to yogis and meditators. When cannabis is used not only recreationally but with the intention to get focused, has the real ability to create an open-hearted experience. Marijuana increases consciousness and energizes the soul and the body.  Cannabis is boosting the mind’s ability to rise to great height and reach depths that couldn’t be reached normally. It also allows one to have a more intimate experience. Yoga has been related to primitive Shiva cults who use Cannabis for religious practice.

As with all other entheogenic medicines, cannabis provides a powerful mindfulness and awareness and a meditative experience. Marijuana can also allow one to get better results and some conditions the spiritual effects can dissolve ego into a really deep spiritual presence. Marijuana can offer a clearer insight to the supernatural and the natural. The mental state of any human changes every time and it is a product of past actions. So, a being who exists now is not the same as the person who existed some seconds before. One can only observe the current moment.
