Types of Kalsarpa Yoga

Kal sarpa yoga or the serpent’s time is a state in a person’s astrological chart. It occurs when all the planets get circled between Rahu and Ketu. It is believed that a person who has this becomes very miserable in life and all good things get delayed or simply do not take place. Generally it is feared more than necessary. This is a very rare state and even if one planet is out it clearly means that there is no kal sarpa yoga or the serpent’s time.

There are twelve types of Kal Sarpa yoga’s as follows:

  • Anant Kalsarpa Yoga – this is also known as the vipareet kalsarpa yoga or the opposite kal sarpa yoga. It is considered bad for marital relationships, as it would create differences between the husband and wife. People having this generally get married later in life.
  • Kulika Kalsarpa Yoga – when this happens the person has to face a lot of struggles in life, his health remains poor, his financial situation is not very good and his expenses are more than what he earns.
  • Vasuki Kalsarpa Yoga – when this occurs, the person faces trouble with his friends and family. There are several problems and risks in travel, work and legal matters.
  • Shankapal Kalsarpa Yoga – when this happens, the person experiences problems in his property deals and real estate. He is seldom satisfied with his financial standing and always wants more.
  • Padma Kalsarpa Yoga - when this happens the persons should stay away from stock markets, lottery, betting, gambling, etc. this person would also experience trouble with children.
  • Mahapadma Kalsarpa Yoga – When this occurs, the person suffers from poor health, has trouble in his relationships, and does not have a positive approach in life.
  • Takshak Kalsarpa Yoga – In this situation, the person would need to be extra cautious about his business partnerships and his married life.
  • Karkotik Kalsarpa Yoga - In this situation’s the person would have a lot of health problems and also trusts issues among friends.
  • Shankhnaad Kalsarpa Yoga – When this happens the person has problems from the people in the senior posts and the government, etc.
  • Paatak Kalsarpa Yoga – When this happens, the person will experience turbulence in his business or work and problems with his superiors.
  • Vishakt Kalsarpa Yoga – When this happens, the person would have problems related to the heart and there would be problems between him and his elder brother.
  • Sheshnag Kalsarpa Yoga - When this occurs, the person is at a risk from people who are unknown to him.

A general remedy is to wear a ring in the shape of a serpent that has the gems Gomed and Cats Eye at each end.
