Arthritis is a painful condition that is characterized by stiffness and immobility of the joints of your body. The condition can be local or spread to all the joints of your body. Yoga and its diverse exercises and breathing techniques have been found to be beneficial for arthritis. The slow and steady poses and steps adopted in yoga for arthritis bring suppleness to your muscles and gradually ease them out of their stiffness. This can be done depending on the degree of pain that you suffer. Do not overdo any yoga exercise and keep coming back to do more when you feel better. Be mindful to continue the exercises till you begin to feel sore. Then rest awhile and get back to do more when you feel better.

Arthritis can creep into your life and make it difficult for you to perform even simple chores. Yoga has been resorted to by many as a solution to allaying the pain and immobility caused by arthritis. Yoga poses for arthritis require you to stretch the muscles of your neck, wrists, or ankles as much as possible. Once you feel comfortable enough, you can extend the duration of the yoga poses. Yoga poses have always been beneficial for arthritis because of their gentle flexing movements. Continue to do the exercises just before the point when you experience soreness in your muscles or pain in the joints. Then, resume the exercises when the pain has gone.
