I am Dharminder Singh from Mohali dist.(Pb). I am 23 years old suffering from kidney stones from the last 10 years.

To treat recurrent kidney stones and especially your case that has been prevalent for 10 years, certainly requires medical intervention. If you are under medication for the ailment then certain yoga asanas such as inverted position asanas like the shoulder stand or Sarvangasana and inverted leg stretch position are useful in maintaining kidney health.

The following poses are known to be excellent for kidney and abdominal functionality - The half moon pose, the eagle pose, the triangle pose, the half tortoise pose, the camel pose, the rabbit pose, the spinal twist etc. as a practice you could also start to consuming boiled figs along with the water in which it is boiled, every morning for at least a ,month, on an empty stomach. Diet is usually the primary thing to regulate in order to get rid of kidney stones. According to Ayurveda, a diet rich in green leafy vegetables, is useful to cleanse your body of toxins. Similarly a diet consisting parsley, potatoes, cucumbers, garlic, bananas, papayas, watermelons, spinach etc must be incorporated in your diet. Reduce your intake of animal protein; importantly keep away from cottage cheese, and all kinds of sour foods including pickles. Please make it a note to drink at least eight to 10 glasses of water every day.
