Yoga is one of the oldest forms of spiritual paths in the world today. It was originated in India over a thousand years ago. The concept of yoga has reached in every corner of the world and the reason being, its endless benefits. Yoga is considered to cure and improve each and every part of the body. Yoga techniques benefit the body, mind and soul.

Yoga has the ability to treat a person physiologically, psychologically and also spiritually. These three aspects are the most important in a person's life. When these three aspects are in balance, a person will feel positive and pleased with life. Some of the benefits of yoga are as follows:-

Physiological Benefits

  • Weight Maintenance - Yoga plays a very important role in curbing weight problems. People who are underweight or overweight have greatly benefitted from yoga.

  • Healthy Body - Yoga techniques are known to keep the body healthy and free from all sorts of ailments and disorders.

  • Respiratory Disorders - Yoga techniques are known to cure all kinds of respiratory disorders such as asthma and many more.

  • Blood Pressure - Yoga techniques are also known to balance the blood pressure in the body. It is instrumental in treating both high and low blood pressure.

  • Body Aches - There are various yoga techniques that are believed to cure almost all kinds of body pains. Arthritis, back ache and osteoporosis are some of the ailments cured by yoga techniques.

  • Muscle Toning - Yoga exercises have a deep impact on weak and flaccid muscles. Due to the exercises, the excess fat is eventually converted to muscles.
