Yoga for Increasing Height

You may not possibly grow taller than you actually are at the age of 24 but what can certainly help you through yoga are basic postures that can give off an impression of appearing taller. To begin with, do the tadasana regularly as part of your exercise regime along with weight lifting in other forms of exercises that you are currently involved in.

Other important exercises include the Padahastasan also known as the Foot Hand Pose. This particular exercise will greatly complimented your current fitness program by expanding your shoulders, chest, and keeping a flat stomach.  Through its various movements this particular asana can also influence the height of individual while reducing excess fat. Also include the triangular pose or the trikonasan along with the two above-mentioned exercises. The triangular pose has additional benefits in relieving pain in back and in the chest, especially around the ribs.

Do not forget the sun salutation, as it is an ideal for more exercise for all age groups. Since the body movement of this particular exercise or asana involves the use of the major muscles and respiratory organs, it can greatly enhance the flexibility of your spinal cord and the knee joints.  The sun salutation consists of a range of a number of yoga positions, at least 12 poses, there are intricately seamed together through a flowing pattern that also involves five special breathing techniques. Some other useful exercises include the Lotus pose or the Padmasana, the half Lotus pose also known as the Eraha padmasana, the Indian style seating position better known as the Sukasana and the Seedasana are versatile in its ability to correct the lower back posture and develop a correct form of seating.

However before embark on any series of yoga positions and exercises, please check with your medical practitioner or doctor to rule out any disorders for the safe practice of yoga.
