Height is determined mostly by your genetics.  If you look at your relatives, you will get a decent idea of how tall you will be when you are finished growing.  For most people, the growth process ends at about 18 or 19 years of age.  Occasionally some men can grow until they are 20 years of age.  Unfortunately, no exercise if going to make you grow any more if you are already over 20 years of age.  However, yoga may be able to help you relieve some stress in your back and spine and may allow you stand up more straight, sometimes adding an extra centimeter or two to your overall height.

Try asanas that focus on your back and spine, such as spinal twists, bridge pose and thread the needle.  These asanas will unlock tension in your spine. If you are a yoga beginner, do not push yourself too hard.  Make sure you learn the proper positioning for any asana from an instructor and do not hold your asanas for longer than 30 seconds at first.  Listen to your body.  Also, some standing poses, such as tree pose and prayer pose may help you learn to stand up more straight, such will give the appearance of being taller.
