Yoga for Beginners

I am going to start yoga in the morning. Can I do tread mill walking in the evening?

Yoga is one of those great exercises that combine well with almost any other exercise. Doing yoga in the morning is a great way to start your day and will provide you with the energy to stay alert and feel great throughout your day. Topping off your day with treadmill walking is a great way to wind down after a hectic day. And you can certainly do treadmill walking after doing yoga in the morning. What’s great about treadmill walking in combination with yoga is that often yoga doesn’t give the cardio workout some people are looking for. Most yoga, such as Hatha yoga and Kundlini yoga do not raise the heart rate enough to burn any real amount of calories. This often disappoints yoga beginners looking for a weight loss alternative to some more high impact exercises. Yoga will give you a toned body and is a great stress release. Treadmill walking in the evening will add to the great effects of yoga by increasing your heart rate and burning calories. To maximize the effects of your morning yoga practice, make sure you get a full eight hours of sleep between your evening tread mill walk and your morning yoga practice.
