You seem to be suffering from premature grey hair, which in most cases is due to the genetics, but it could also be there due to some other underlying problem. Our hair color depends on the tiny cells of pigment called melanocytes that is present in the hair follicles. The production of melanocytes slowly declines as we age and at a certain point it stops so the new hair that grows is without the color pigment. As a result we get grey hair. The occurrence of grey hair depends on several factors like genetic or hereditary factors, certain thyroid conditions like hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism, Hashimoto's disease, excessive stress and trauma, Grave’s disease, unhealthy or poor diet resulting in nutritional deficiencies like anemia, vitiligo that leads to the loss of melanocytes, excessive smoking, excessive use of styling products with harsh chemicals, certain strong medicines and in women an early menopause. You would need to find out what is the cause of your problem and then treat it accordingly.

Yoga does help of course as it works not only on your outer body but also from deep within. The Dhyana or meditation, pranayama or the breathing techniques and the yoga asanas or the postures all have a combined deep action on your system that strengthen your body and optimizes the functions of your system resulting in a healthy blood and oxygen circulation to every part of your body that gradually results in great shiny healthy hair. To get great hair you can start by practicing Dhyana or meditation that will help to calm you down and relieve your stress and tension. Then move on to Pranayama or breathing techniques that will help your body to harmonize your breathing pattern and your body will also absorb more oxygen that will help to rejuvenate your hair follicles. This will stimulate the production of melanin. You can try deep breathing and Kapalbhati as it is extremely beneficial in cleaning your lungs, increasing your lung capacity that automatically increases your oxygen intake. Other yoga asanas or postures that are beneficial for your grey hair problem include the inverted asanas that increase the blood flow to your scalp like Shirshasana or the headstand, Sarvanga asana or the shoulder stand, Adho Mukha Shavasana or the downward facing dog pose, Paschimottanasana or the forward bend pose, Surya Namaskar or the sun salutation, padahasta asana or the forward bend hands and feet pose.
