Which Warm Up Exercises Should One Do Before Starting Workout?

Doing some kind of warm exercise is essential before a person starts any kind of workout. A warm up before exercise can help in increasing the flow of blood to all the working muscles. This will then lead to lessening in muscle stiffness and will also reduce the chance of a person suffering an injury. Warm ups will also help in improving the performance. A proper warm up will additionally increase the person’s body temperature which helps to reduce the chances of any strains or pulls. It also helps to increase the blood temperature.

Some of the main warm up exercise include jogging for a little while before running or doing a few sprints prior to running. Some people like ball players will usually do warm ups that are not related to their sport. They may do flexibility warm ups or calisthenics. Before one does any stretches, it is advisable to first do some aerobic exercise gradually. It is always recommended that to do some stretching post their exercise routine. A proper warm up will be individual to a person. One can try varying their intensities of warm ups to suit their needs. A different pace and style will suit different peoples needs.
