i m 16 yrs old boy. i want to increase my height my height is 5.1 ft. Please tell me some exercises.

Yoga for a height increase is commonly practiced by many people. It is possible to increase height through yoga because yoga postures help to stretch and lengthen the spine. This encourages correct posture and also gives the body balance. Those who wish to gain in height through natural methods should definitely give yoga a try. Yoga consists of a series of low impact fluid poses that involve physical exercise as well as breathing control. In addition to toning the muscles and improving stamina, yoga also relaxes the mind and relieves tension. It should be pointed out that using yoga for a height increase will not work wonders as it will only promote height growth within natural limits, provided you are still in the growth phase.
Yoga for height gain is effective because its gives the entire body a good stretch through various asanas or poses. The body is thus able to completely decompress and lengthen. Once the muscles, cartilages, ligaments and bones of the body are free from strain, they become stronger and are able to stretch fully. This makes a person appear taller than before. The concentration on breathing that yoga involves also alleviates stress and tension from the muscles of the back. This strain normally hampers correct posture and once it is relieved, the individual is able to stand up straight and hence appears to have gained in height. Although yoga for height growth is usually safe for most people to practice, it is still advisable that you consult a doctor before starting on a yoga regimen. Here are some simple yoga asanas for height increase.
Sukhasana (Easy Pose) is a basic sitting pose from which the other poses originate. This asana is important because it enables you to focus on your breathing. It also works on the muscles of the back and hips. To perform the easy pose, sit cross legged on the ground with your palms on your knees. Breathe evenly and deeply and keep the spine upright. Inhale and raise the arms above the head. Then slowly exhale and bring the arms back down. Repeat this about 5 to 6 times. Trikoasana (Triangle Pose) is also beneficial for height increase. It helps to promote good posture and also relieves stress. To perform the triangle pose, stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. Turn your left foot to 90 degrees to the left and your right foot to 45 degrees inwards. Extend the arms on each side so that they are parallel to the ground. Bend slowly towards the right and touch the left toes with your right hand and stretch the left hand upwards. Look in the direction of your left hand and maintain the pose for a few seconds. Then slowly come back to standing position and repeat the same movement for the other side.
