Yoga poses for increasing height

At your age the bones are probably grown to its fullest, any yoga posture can not help you to increase your height. But few poses will help you to correct your posture which can make you look taller. Try yoga pose like vriksasana, tadasana, adho mukha svanasana, mukha svanasana, balasana, adho garudasana, and salabhasana

Balasana or child's pose – sit on the ground with your legs bended at the knees and your hips on the heels. The toe should touch the floor. Slowly bend forward at the waist to lower your forehead on the floor. Similar to a position of a fetus with a only difference that you are facing downwards instead of sideways. While bending forward do not raise your buttocks, try to keep them close towards the heels as far as possible. You can use your arms to rest your forehead or can simply place them alongside the body with palms facing upwards. Inhale and exhale slowly and deeply. When you inhale try to press your belly against your thighs.

Salabhasana or locust pose – lie on your stomach, place chin on ground and arms under the thighs. Lift your legs and back from the ground to form a curved shape like a banana. Breathe deeply and hold for 20 seconds.
