Yoga and vertigo: Recently had severe vertigo during yoga. Went to hospital; diagnosis: inflammation of inner ear. When better, I resumed yoga. Shortly into practice, I get severe anxiety & mild vertigo. One nite, anxiety turned into 2-hour panic attack.

I don’t know what your Yoga practices are like or what style you are into. Please offer more details so that I can provide an appropriate answer accordingly. For now please avoid all inverted poses and NEVER hold your breath during asanas, exercises or pranayama. This will only worsen the situation. Also watch your diet. No spicy or fatty foods, please.
