Yoga for becoming tall

Can I grow tall through the practice of yoga? I'm 20 years old.

Yoga for becoming tall

Yoga mostly has a solution for most of life's common ailments and if done in the right manner and daily without fail it can provide the answer to living life without suffering from major diseases.

However one common question that most people ask is if yoga can help to make them taller than they already are. The answer to that query depends upon a number of factors. Yoga does help to make one look taller but it does not facilitate growth nor do people get any taller by practicing yoga. By improving and correcting one's posture, practice of yoga helps the spinal cord to become more flexible and release stress while aligning the tissues, bones and ligaments in the right manner. With thorough practice an individual can achieve perfect alignment of the body which thus results in an appearance of being taller. It is a wrong notion many people hold that yoga has the ability of increasing bodily height. What yoga actually does is to give an impression of making the body stand erect and taller after it has corrected the individual’s posture. Yoga promotes overall body flexibility in the muscles and joints and also relives aches and pains.

Hence it is important to know that yoga does not influence the body after a certain age, to grow taller or shorter, once the body has reached maturation.
