Kidney Stones Remedies

There are certain yoga asanas such as uttanpadasana, pavanmuktasana or wind removing pose, bhujangasana, dhanurasana, and halasana that help to stimulate the functions of the kidneys and promote health in the region. However kidney stones can be rid off with additional help from diet and herbs. A tablespoon of fresh basil juice mixed with one teaspoon of honey must be consumed twice a day. The concoction of basil with honey must be consumed daily for six months in order to experience relief from kidney stones.

Plenty of fresh apples consumed throughout the day are also useful in preventing kidney stones. Moreover naturally extracted apple cider without the addition of sugar is also useful in preventing future occurrences. Eating liberal amounts of grapes also helps in removing the kidney stones. Grapes are rich in water content and also in minerals such as potassium, which is an excellent curative for kidney stones. Plenty of fluids, approximately, three liters must be drunk every day to preclude the formation of stones and also to control the acidity and the alkalinity of the urine. All kind of liquids, barring alcoholic drinks must be had during the course of the day for a period of time to flush out the toxins form the body.
