Triangle Pose - Trikonasana

Technique

1.



Stand erect, feet together.

2. Exhale, spread your feet about 3 feet apart and stretch your arms out so that they are in line with the shoulders.



Palms should be facing the floor.

3. Turn your right foot to the right and left foot slightly inwards.





4.  Now exhale, bend your trunk to the right and, with the right hand, reach for your right ankle.

6. Simultaneously, lift up your left arm so that it is aligned with the right.

7. Look up at your extended left hand.

8. Maintain the position for 20 to 30 seconds.

9. Then exhale, lift your right palm from the ankle and straighten your
    body.

10. Turn your left leg to the left and repeat the asana on the left side.
