Spread out your arms on either side, then raise your bottom off the floor and compress it. Now shove your hips up to the ceiling. Stop at the top and then return to the starting position.

A primary benefit of the Yoga fitness ball as against exercising directly on a floor or chair is that your body reacts to the unsteadiness of the ball to stay balanced. In the bargain, it engages a lot more muscles which become stronger over time to maintain a balance.
