Keep your arms parallel to the floor. Although it might seem easy, this is a powerful asana that can burn a lot of fat if you hold it for just a minute.

Lastly, the boat pose or ‘Navasana’ has proven effective in getting rid of belly fat. While sitting down, extend your arms forward and then raise your legs to a 45 degree angle. Breathe in and out allowing your stomach to expand each time.  This exercise will make your abdominal muscles stronger and more flexible.
