One must be aware of the fact that walking on rather inconsistent terrain puts the foot under a significant amount of strain – increasing the chances of suffering from medical conditions such as a sprain or a twisted ankle. Aerobic exercise is considered to be more effective than walking because it helps exercise a larger number of muscle groups in the body. Moreover, some of the other benefits of aerobic exercises include the fact that it makes your body more agile and supple.
