Scalp Massage Oil: Nourishing Hair Tonic

Scalp Massage: What is scalp massage? How it helps?

A scalp massage is the process of massaging the scalp with any oil or nourishing hair tonic. There are many such products that are available in the market, but it is preferable to opt for a product that contains pure natural oils. A scalp massage increases the circulation of blood to the scalp and helps in treating conditions and ailments such as hair loss, poor hair growth, dandruff, and dry hair.

How to perform a scalp massage. A scalp massage is very easy to perform. It can be self administered or performed by a friend or partner. The first step is to choose an appropriate type of essential oil that suits your hair type. Now, place some oil in a dish and warm it by placing the dish over a pot containing hot water. When the oil is warm, dip your fingers into the oil and massage it into the roots of the hair and onto the scalp. For even better results, start massaging the scalp from the hair line on your forehead and move slowly backwards in the direction of the back of the neck. Do not massage the scalp harshly as it may damage the hair roots and lead to hair fall. Keep your scalp oiled for at least 30 minutes and then wash the oil off to enjoy the healthy effect that a good scalp massage can have on your hair.
