Methods For Natural Colon Cleansing
Not all the food that we eat gets digested completely. There are things like processed food, saturated food, artificial flavors, and chemicals that stick up against the walls of the colon. These foods block the passage and prevent the waste from being expelled from the system. And if these wastes are not cleansed for a prolonged time, they build up as toxins and wreak havoc on the system like indigestion, water retention, constipation, abdominal pain, gas and bloating. And these are just among the minor problems. An unclean colon is a breeding ground for bacteria and yeast. The trouble begins when these toxins seep out of the colon and enter the bloodstream, and finally encroach upon all parts of the body. Medically cleansing the colon is called enema, but it is quite an invasive procedure and has risks of damaging the kidney as well. The expensive and invasive colon cleansing procedure can be completely avoided if you don’t let the colon clog in the first place.
Your colon will be absolutely clean if you can defecate at least once a day, and without any difficulty. For that, avoid processed, sugary, and fatty food, as these slow down digestion and add to the toxic waste in your colon. A balanced diet with lots of green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits helps a lot. High-fiber fruits like apples, oranges, radish, and beetroot promote digestion and make the expulsion of waste easy. If you consume one apple and drink two glasses of orange juice everyday, it will help your bowel movement and expel wastes. Consuming about two liters of water each day works wonders in keeping the digestive system clean. It’s important to detoxify the colon through cleansing to remove the buildup of bacteria, yeast, and other toxins. For natural cleansing, you can take 2 glasses of warm water and add 2 pinches of salt to it. Drink this on an empty stomach every morning. Another alternative is taking one teaspoon castor oil in milk once a month. Drinking a cup of hot milk with a teaspoon of butter in it every night also helps bowel movements. Another remedy that will ease the bowel movements and also clear the colon is mixing one teaspoon of mint juice and lime juice each with a small amount of ginger and black salt. Avoid excessive alcohol and smoking and drink plenty of water and fruit juices. You should also follow an exercise regime of no less than 30-minutes daily as this will also keep the system clean of wastes.
