I want to stop my menstrual flow to go for vacation, any thing to do that naturally?

The menstrual cycle is a periodic cycle of physiological changes that occurs during the fertile lifespan of females. Humans and mammals such as chimpanzees usually experience overt menstruation. This is a condition where blood flows from the uterus and is expelled from the vagina. This cycle is controlled by the endocrine system and is essential for reproduction. Although no two women will have the same cycle, the average menstrual cycle in humans is approximately 28 days.

At menstruation, the body gets rid of the uterine lining that was built up when ovulation occurred. The body of a human female does this every month in anticipation of a pregnancy. If conception does not occur, the lining is of no use to the body and needs to be expelled through menstruation. Thus, stopping menstruation is not a good idea as it affects the normal functions of the body. Some women try to suppress ovulation, but this can be dangerous as it can lead to infertility; and the use of certain drugs can cause problems like cancer and cysts in the ovaries.

Remedies To Stop Menstrual Flow

So, how to stop your period without side effect ?  Most women, who want to suppress menstruation, do so to avoid getting pregnant. While some oral contraceptives claim to suppress ovulation, there are cases of breakthrough ovulation that do occur regularly. In such a case, a woman, who is on the pill can actually land up becoming pregnant if she has had sex. The pill will then behave as an abortificant by interfering with the flexing motions and cilia movements of the fallopian tubes. This prevents the conceived child from moving to the womb, where it can receive nutrition, thereby causing its death by starvation. If the newly conceived child manages to reach the uterus, the pill causes the womb to become thin and inhospitable for implantation thus causing its rejection. Most women, who use the pill, remain unaware of its abortive effects and long term effects such as breast cancer and other cancers that emerge in later years. Instead of suppressing menstruation, you should address the problems such as pain, nausea and weakness that accompany it. The best way is to remain healthy and get plenty of exercise. Drink enough water to prevent water retention that often causes bloating and pain during menstruation. Get enough rest and take vitamin supplements to prevent weakness. Menstruation is a normal function of the body, although it tends to be inconvenient at times, it is an important part of your life and essential for your good health.
