Sebum helps in nourishing the hair and maintaining the blackness and the sheen of the hair. The requirement for the nourishment of the scalp must be met from inside the blood stream.
The whiteness of hair can be hereditary; however, a faulty diet or mental stress can also causes premature graying of hair. Mental stress can cause tension in the scalp and this interferes with the proper nutrition of the scalp.
