I have lot of small face pits after acne, please suggest some home remedies for acne and acne scars

Acne is a problem that has plagued many women and men. During adolescence, when the body is undergoing changes and hormones are raging, acne can leave behind ugly scars that mar the beauty of your face and make you feel conscious. The problem is even more severe for those who have oily skin.

The scarring from acne is mostly of three types: raised scars, ice pick scars, acne out scars. The classification of the scars is very essential for the correct identification and treatment of the scars. This classification is actually made on the basis of the development of these scars.

The raised scars are caused when a large number of cysts form close to each other and clump together. This tissue that has been formed by the clumping of the cysts forms a raise fold of skin. This raised mass forms a scar tissue. This is why the scar is otherwise known as raised scars.

The ice pick scars are characterized by large open pores. They are large and deep, and the open pores that accompany them seem to have been made by a sharp object like an ice pick. This is how the scars get their name. This type of scar is caused when the pimple forms a deep cyst and the hair follicle within the skin gets infected. This infection moves to the surface of the skin and scars the tissue to seem that the pores have been jabbed by a sharp instrument.

The final scarring is known as the acne pit scars. Wherever these scars are formed, the skin gives a sunken or depressed appearance. These are caused by infect cysts that destroy the skin tissue on the surface. The scar tissue is therefore formed in the particular area.

Once the acne scarring has been done, there is not much that can be done to completely treat it. However, there are several home remedies that help lessen the visibility of the scars.

Home Remedies To Reduce Acne Scars

The easiest way to lessen the scars on your face is to give it a milk wash. Milk has lactic acid in good quantities. Just soak a cotton ball in milk and apply it generously on your face. The acid helps dissolve the upper surface of the skin and reduces the appearance of the pits. You could also take the flour of chickpea, add some milk to it and squeeze a few drops of lemon to make a paste. Apply a thick layer of the paste on your face and leave it for fifteen-twenty minutes. Afterwards wash it with warm water. Do this till the appearance of the scars has dulled. If the blemishes still remain, get some raw potatoes and squeeze the juice out of them. Add this juice to the chickpea flour paste. This will definitely lighten your scars.
