Home Remedies For Facial Hair Removal
Home remedies that have been tested over time have helped a great deal of women to rid themselves of unwanted facial hair. Sugar waxing is an ancient method of hair removal. A solution of lemon juice, honey and sugar is applied to the area of removal and similar to the process of waxing, is pulled off in strips. The hair is removed from the root and takes longer to grow back. Alternately, a thick paste made of egg, sugar and corn flour has also proved useful in removing facial hair. A ball of dough, freshly kneaded and dipped in olive oil, when rolled around the area from where the hair is to be removed, has also been recommended. The dough plucks out the hair from the roots, while the olive oil softens the skin and keeps the dough from sticking onto your body. Lime juice is a natural bleaching agent and should be applied to the respective areas of hair removal to lighten the skin tone, thereby allowing facial hair to be less prominent. A paste, made of a turmeric base should be applied to the face and left to dry for as long as fifteen minutes. Though a certain amount of coloring is left on the skin, repeating the process thrice a week will have effective results. Other methods such as laser removal and electrolysis are permanent, but are also very expensive.
