How To Get Rid Of Dead Skin -

Dry skin is cause by a lack of sebum production. The substance resembles oil and fat and that is reflected in its chemical make up of triglycerides and fatty acids. It is a natural moisturizing and protection medium that prevents our skin from drying out. Sebum production usually increases on its own when the skin senses that it is drying out. This is the reason why some soap that rid the skin of oil only achieves success temporarily and the sebum production actually increases to keep up with the constant loss. Low levels of testosterone in the bodies of men and women sometimes also affect the secretion of sebum. To rectify this solution, without worsening it, you need to – use a moisturizer that complements the skin’s production of sebum, get rid of dead skin in the area of the drying, and disinfect it. The first task that you should do is to remove all the dead skin that is one the area. For this, rub a lemon over the area. This might sting, so you might not be very comfortable. After using the lemon, with an unused toothbrush rub the area back and forth gently. If this is too painful, then use your finger. Next, you need to disinfect the area. At this point, due to the action of the lemon juice a lot of disinfection would have already happened but just to be completely sure, apply some hydrogen peroxide to the area. This has the dual effect of clearing dead skin from the area and disinfecting deep into the tissue. Finally, apply some olive oil to the area and leave it on. The dry cracked feeling should go away.

This is not the end of the regimen though. The next day, apply some aloe vera to the area, which will act as nature bandage and disinfectant – just ensure that it is completely dry after applying. In a matter of days, your nostrils will be as good as new with no sign that the skin over there faced any kind of trauma. Reapply olive oil to moisturize the skin whenever a dry feel occurs.
