Apart from this, you should also avoid eating gas causing food in order to improve the health of your stomach. This would normally include beans of all types and cabbage. These are the main foods that can really encourage gas bubbles to form in your stomach.

You should also include ginger in your diet. This is a very good way of getting rid of gas bubbles. If possible, chew on a piece of ginger at least a couple of times a day. This is spicy, so if you cannot, you could also opt for ginger candy. The other thing that can be included in your diet is mint leaves, which you should chew on regularly. These will not only help with gas, they will also help with the problem of indigestion. Increasing your water intake also helps with removal of gas. Make sure you drink lots of water all throughout the day. You can also make thin buttermilk with two tablespoons of fresh and unflavored yogurt in a liter of water and sip this all day. Throw in rock salt for improved flavor. Rock salt is also very helpful in releasing gas. Following a combination of any or all of these methods will provide you with a lot of relief within a day. But you should not give up. Try to follow them for at least three weeks, especially the dietary restrictions. This will help to get rid of the problem for a long period of time.
