However, you can alleviate the problem by using some easy remedies. You can treat the genital area with a warm towel compress. Apply the compress on the cyst for about 20 minutes thrice a day till it’s gone. You can also take warm hip baths with a few drops of any essential oil added to the water. Another remedy is adding ¼ cup of Epsom Salt to the bath tub. The warmth of the bath or compress will open up the blocked gland and flush the fluid out. Tea tree oil is also beneficial in treating the cyst. Add three drops of tea tree oil to ¼ cup of olive oil and apply it on the cyst regularly.
No matter what type of cyst it is, there are a few things you need to keep in mind while treating it. Keep your private parts clean by washing it regularly with warm water and soap. You must not pick, scratch, puncture, or drain the fluid out of the cyst as it may lead to infection.
