Bug Bites And Stings : Wasp And Bee And Other Insect Bites

Bug bites are usually very irritating. They can cause considerable swelling and itching, thus bringing a lot of discomfort and pain, although these symptoms are usually temporary. In some cases a bug bite can lead to an unpleasant allergic reaction. Though bug bites usually don’t stay for a long period of time, there are number of cases in which a bug bite can be fatal. One of the most important things to do after any insect bite or sting is to wash the wound thoroughly. It is also important to ensure that you do indeed have a bug bite, and not any other kind of bite or sting. Check whether a stinger is still present inside the skin. If the bite is really a sting from a stinging insect like a wasp or a bee, first and foremost, you must remove the stinger. You can do this with a pair of tweezers. Make sure not to put a lot of pressure that could squeeze the wound, which will spread the venom further into the skin.

If you do in fact have bug bites, these are some of the home remedies you can try to cure the itching – however, remember that no matter what remedies you use, the itching will take a while to disappear:
