How To Get Rid Of Brown Age Spots
A brown spot on the lip is called a melanotic macule. Although more common in middle-aged people, dark-skinned people, and females; they can appear in people of any age, race, or sex. The area needs to be examined by a doctor to make sure that it is benign. The doctor can take a small sample, a biopsy, to determine that there is no cancer. Like with any other freckle or mole, you need to watch it for changes in color, size, or shape. Some people want the lesion removed because of the way it looks. Sometimes, the doctor might recommend that the lesion to be excised or, rarely, laser treatment.
There are a few things that may help alleviate the spot:

Generally, a brown spot is not necessarily a problem, medically. Just make sure your doctor is aware of it and has checked it to make sure that there are no significant problems. The doctor will need to keep an eye on it to make sure that it doesn’t change. If you try any of the recommended remedies, make sure you let your doctor know so that he/she can take this into account as the spot is observed for changes over time.
